2:45pm-11U small schedule change

HI all!

Wanted to thank everyone for playing in tomorrows event! Lunches for South Park and Currituck will be provided at the Currituck location. Please have your moms and grandmothers see the site director at Currituck (Behind field 3 backstop) for a free lunch ticket. Currituck will be offering either a hot dog, burger or BBQ sandwich with chips and a drink for our South Park and Currituck moms/grandmothers. Bayside HS and Kempsville HS will have box lunches available.

*Pets are not allowed at either venue by the fields, unless a service pet.

*Concessions will be open at both locations.

*Please do not warm up on the soccer fields at Currituck or hit against the fences at either location.

*Walk up music is allowed. (Not sure why it wouldn't be, but I get asked this question a lot)

*Teams are allowed free defensive substitutions. You must declare at the beginning of the game how many players are in the batting lineup. 9, 10, 11 or all of them. You can lock players in together and they can alternate hitting per at bat or sub in a player to hit in that particular spot one time only (or the rest of the game)

One Day Pitching Rules:

9U-12U: 15 Outs for the day. Extra 3 outs if in Championship Game.

13U-Unlimted, coaches discretion.

 *There are no forfeits for pitching violations. Both teams are responsible for ensuring that pitchers do not throw above the max outs.  Its about protecting arms not wins by forfeit. 

8U Rules: 5 run limit or 3 outs. Unlimited in 6th inning only.

5 pitches (unlimited foul balls on 5th pitch) or 3 swinging strikes. 

Team at bat to have a coach near backstop to help retrieve ball to speed up game.

No bunting.

Player at the pitcher position, must have one foot in the 10 foot pitching circle.

9U Rules:

No dropped 3rd, no infield fly, open bases, no balks, no fake bunt swings. (Slashing)

10U Rules:

One balk warning per pitcher, no fake bunt swings. (Slashing)

Teams: Please be ready to play 20 mins before scheduled game times.

Time limit: 1:40 no new inning. 8u is 1:20 no new inning.

Pool play games can end in a tie.

Mercy rule: 8U- 15 after 3.

                    9U-13U: 10 after 3, 8 after 4. 

Umps:  8U-$35 per team per game.

             9U-12U: $65 per team per game.

13u: $70 per team 

Teams will supply one new ball and 2 playable balls per game. They will be returned after the game.
